Family Photos at Squaw Pass Road Aspen Forest in Colorado
I have another gorgeous Squaw Pass Road family session to share on the journal today. I loved working with this family. Mom is pregnant, expecting their second daughter and had no problem walking around this meadow at over 9,000 feet. I loved that they brought Nanny and Papa with them to get some pictures with their granddaughter too. We were there on a Saturday at the height of fall color season and I have never seen as many people at this spot before. So we had to get a little creative and find our own color to work with to avoid people in our backgrounds. It was fun for me actually since I photograph here quite a bit to explore and find some different areas to work with here. Their daughter kept cracking me up. She was having a blast for most of the session and kept caressing her mom and dad’s faces in her posing for the pictures which I found incredibly charming. Check out this small selection of some of my favorites below!

If you’re looking for your own fall color family photography session, be sure to check out the FAMILIES page of my site and get in touch. I may have a couple dates left in October for locations at a lower elevation.
