Bar Mitzvah Party in Fort Collins

Fort Collins Bar Mitzvah Photos During Fall

I’m very excited to share these Fort Collins Bar Mitzvah Photos on the journal today because they’re some of the best bar mitzvah pictures I think I’ve ever created. Nathan and his family attend a small synagogue in Fort Collins, Colorado. Since they planned to invite quite a few family and friends for his big bar mitzvah day they opted to host the service and his party at the spacious Lincoln Center which is a large performing arts theater complex near downtown Fort Collins. This large venue has a couple of good sized banquet style ballrooms that their family were able to utilize to host Nathan’s bar mitzvah. He held his service in the Columbine Room and the large party was held in the very large Canyon West Ballroom later that evening.

I’ve been to quite a few bar mitzvahs by now and I have to give Nathan a HUGE shout out for being absolutely incredible at his bar mitzvah. He is obviously a very talented young man with one of the best singing voices I’ve heard for someone as young as he is. He absolutely nailed his Torah reading and I really enjoyed seeing the proud beaming faces from his parents as he wrapped up. They have every right to feel proud of him. As I photographed him interacting with his friends and all of the relatives who traveled to Fort Collins to spend time with him on this special day, I could see clearly how much he is loved by all of them. I got to spend a few minutes with him during the portraits time on his day and I can vouch that he is a very sweet and special young man. I have a silly prompt I like to use where I ask my clients to do a foreign accent for me in an attempt to get them to crack up and he immediately launched into the funniest (and surprisingly realistic!) Cockney accent and managed to keep a straight face throughout. Needless to say, I see a very bright future in store for him and would not be surprised at all if he ends up famous one day! In hindsight, I can see that hosting his bar mitzvah party at a performing arts theater was truly the perfect venue for this clever guy.

I am happy to report that we were able to create a ton of beautiful family portraits, some in the fall color and some indoors with the natural window light as well as plenty of fun candid moments from both the bar mitzvah service and the party that evening. But I’ve managed to pick out my absolute favorites to showcase what a great day it was below. Enjoy!
