Fort Collins Senior Photography During Fall in Old Town
As a Fort Collins senior photographer, I have the cutest Old Town Fort Collins senior photography session to share on the journal today. Some of you may remember Madelyn from when I did her photos recently up in the mountains to get the fall color up there. She also wanted to get some urban senior photos closer to where she spends her time and where she is from so we met up in the Old Town area of Fort Collins in early November to create these beautiful senior photos for her. I could not have asked for a better session. The weather was pretty warm for a November afternoon with not too much wind. Old Town Fort Collins is the epitome of what people think of when they want to spend time in a quaint “small town” with lots of restaurants, shops, breweries, boutique hotels, and creative outdoor community spaces. I love that they have managed to keep the character of the old buildings while building up the area with interesting things to do and see.
It’s actually been a little while since I last had the opportunity to create portrait photos in Fort Collins but I was so happy to see some of the same spaces I used before that looked awesome were still there while finding plenty of new photogenic nooks and crannies to use for these Fort Collins senior photos. The city has added in a lot of nice public art and wall murals in this area and have maintained the beauty of the classic old brick buildings that I have come to really appreciate as someone who grew up here in Colorado. I love all of the outdoor painted pianos available for the public to entertain themselves with too. I have to give a special shout out to The Armstrong Hotel who were so kind to allow me to take a few photos of Madelyn in their stylish lobby area as well. I cannot wait to come back and photograph more senior photos in Fort Collins! Check out my favorites from Madelyn’s Fort Collins senior photoshoot below!
