Lost Gulch Senior Photos
I’m super excited today because I finally get to share these awesome Lost Gulch senior photos at a high school yearbook session I did back in mid-August. This handsome young man’s name is William and his mom, Amy, got in touch with me quite awhile ago to start talking about plans for his senior photos. As with Taryn (the gal I photographed in my previous blog post), I actually met Amy through my good friend, Susan! I have to give a shout out to Susan for always introducing me to cool new people, haha! They used to work at the same real estate office.
But back to William’s session, he wanted to get some urban photos created but also wanted to get some nature and mountain views as well. That’s not always easy to make happen here in the Denver area especially with the traffic these days. So eventually we settled on the idea of exploring the Pearl Street Mall area up in Boulder and finishing his senior session up at Lost Gulch Overlook on Flagstaff Road.
I am not ashamed to admit that I just love what we were able to get for William. He is such a photogenic young man and it may sound a little cheesy or maybe even overused as a phrase, but it’s hard to describe his eyes as anything but soulful in my opinion. We found a pretty cool little doorway behind the Boulder Theater and we even managed to get a nice shot on Pearl Street without tons of people in the background which was a nice surprise.

And of course, Lost Gulch Overlook was as gorgeous as it always is! It was a tiny bit hazy the day we went but when we added in our own light for some of the photos it really helped add some definition through the haze. I also love that we were able to fit in a photo with the brothers together with that awesome mountain backdrop at the Overlook. Check out some of my favorites from these cool Lost Gulch senior photos below!
