I’ve got the cutest hipster wedding in Boulder to share on the journal today. Laura first wrote to me back in January and described her wedding in these exact words Hipster, Casual, Vintage and Modern. Her wedding ended up being exactly that! I loved everything about it. The venue (omg, there were cute cats roaming about, farm buildings painted in my favorite color of green, incredible views of the Flatirons, and lots of great outdoor space to use…I definitely had a little case of venue envy!), the food, the gorgeous flowers from the Painted Primrose, and the lovely periwinkle blue and gray colors. It was seriously so pretty. And extremely fun to photograph all of the details that Laura has spent months planning. She actually has a blog where she chronicled some of what she did for her planning for this awesome hipster wedding in Boulder. I had a blast following along. http://laurafishlife.blogspot.com/ I am especially impressed with her diy skills. She altered a pair of earrings she bought online to get them to match the pearls from her Great Grandmother which she would be wearing on her wedding day. And she made the paper flowers that decorated the altar area. But Laura’s not the only talented person in that relationship. Chase is actually a photographer himself! http://chasehoffman.com/
Laura & Chase,
Wow, your wedding was extremely beautiful! It was so laid-back and really was the perfect evening. Nice job finding such a great venue. I totally wish I had known about it before I booked mine;) Hope you guys have the best time ever on your honeymoon in Ireland. Can’t wait to see some photos!

Such a pretty dress. It has these delicate fabric flowers sewn on that sort of fluttered in the breeze.
Oh I just love taking detail photos:)
I saw a dried out sunflower decoration and thought it would make a fun backdrop for the rings:)
Poor Leo just wanted to go outside and hang out with everyone
Chase uses his photo skills to set up their photobooth
LOVE those flowers from the Painted Primrose!
Chase is about to get his first look at Laura before the ceremony.
Gotta admit, I love “First Looks” since they make the wedding day timeline less crazy
I seriously love these colors!
I love this one! The girls look so pretty and cute here:)
Laura’s sis & maid of honor with her man
Laura’s dad makes an announcement before the ceremony
Another view of those cool handmade ceremony decorations
Laura and her father make their way down the aisle to Chase who is waiting for her.
What a pretty location for a wedding
See how pretty & cute this place is? How did I not know about it before?
Look, Chase & Laura actually got to join their guests for cocktail hour because they did a First Look instead of waiting to do all of their pictures after the ceremony. Smart people;)
Laura was such a pretty bride!
These centerpieces are so simple yet beautiful. And absolutely timeless.
The kitty looking for some pets is so quaint it kills me 😉
Look at that view of the Flatirons!
These were soooo good! I LOVED the Triple Berry flavor! Thank you Cheesecake Therapy!
Just looking at this photo is making me hungry!
We decided to take advantage of the last bit of sunlight and do a few more portraits
What a rockin’ Band. They had everyone dancing!
