Boulder Gay Wedding at Chautauqua
I have the coolest music festival themed Boulder gay wedding to share with the world today. Andrew and Reid, affectionately known as “Dreid,” are such a fun-loving and unique pair. Meeting them and observing them on their wedding day you might assume that their love is a newer love due to how passionate they still are for each other but you’d be wrong because they have already been a pair for around 8 years now. I love when a couple who have already been together for many years give off that air of having just met each other! When we met for beers at my place they told me the story of how they asked the same friend to help them propose to one another and he had to keep it a secret from the both of them that they were both planning to ask. It’s like the premise to a funny rom-com right? Eventually they both went through with their proposal, Reid’s at a favorite hiking trail head with a picnic and drinks in Boulder and Andrew’s in Mexico where they were both headed to a music festival.
Music Festival Themed Wedding in Boulder
Speaking of music festivals, these two are wild about music. They made sure to create a lot of awesome music festival themed wedding décor with fun little ideas like a custom Crosswalk sign their “groomies” (otherwise known as the wedding party) created. And for these music loving grooms, custom will call guest cards with the tables named after various concert venues was the perfect touch for their music festival styled wedding. And a friend of the family created some of the most unique wedding décor I’ve ever seen with giant hanging jellyfish that lit up and completely transformed the big white tent at Chautauqua Dining Hall. They did a great job making their wedding feel a little bit like a music festival and all of the bright yellow sunflowers throughout the décor instantly gave it a sunny mood. I’ve got to give a shout out to the Chautauqua catering too because the taco dinner that Reid and Drew chose for their wedding was absolutely delicious! And those views of the flatirons at the park are incredible as always. There’s a reason that Chautauqua is an institution in Boulder. You can’t think of the city without imaging that view! My favorite! I loved the classic romance and wanted to give it a bit of a vintage look.
