Denver Botanic Gardens Senior Photos
I have some incredible Denver Botanic Gardens senior photos to share with the world today! The young lady featured on the journal today is one of the prettiest and sweetest young teenagers I’ve met in quite some time. She actually reminds me a little bit of myself when I was her age. A little bit shy, enjoys art, and likes wearing black Chuck Taylors! She and her family live up north and came down to meet me at the Denver Botanic Gardens for her senior yearbook photography session. It’s amazing how many different kinds of plants and settings there are stuffed into a fairly small area at the Denver Botanic Gardens. It’s actually one reason why it’s perfect for this kind of senior photo shoot. You walk just down the path a little way and you’ve left a perfectly manicured Japanese garden and stumbled across a wild and untamed Colorado grasslands area.
Large Variety of Scenery for Senior Photos at Denver Botanic Gardens
There are pretty waterlily gardens, lovely sculptures, small waterfalls, and of course lots of different kids of colorful flowers. It’s impossible to make use of the entire garden in just one session, but I think we came pretty close during our senior photo session time there. We wandered all over the place and made use of the gorgeous landscaping and garden designs. And we even discovered an area I hadn’t seen before on my previous visits where we found a gorgeous carved door to use as a backdrop (check it out in the photos below!). Chandler was the perfect model for her Denver Botanic Gardens senior photography session and we came away with so many great shots of her it was really hard to narrow down just a small handful for the sneak peek.
Cost for Senior Photography at Denver Botanic Gardens
Unfortunately it’s not free to get your senior portraits created at Denver Botanic Gardens. They do charge a one time permit fee of $100 for up to 6 people (including me!) to go inside with your senior photographer and get your professional senior photos done in the gardens, but I think it’s so worth the price to get such beautiful backdrops with very little effort. Plus I pay up to $25 of permit costs for my clients so that helps with the price to get some amazing garden pictures.
