I am so happy that I get to share this Colorado family’s photos on the blog tonight. I met the mama, Tia, while skating for the Rocky Mountain Rollergirls. We used to be on the same home team called The Dooms Daisies. We have both since left the league to move onto other things. In her case, becoming a mom has been keeping her super busy. Her two little girls are getting so big now and they are a hoot to hang out with. They told me all about their little toys that they brought along with them and they also managed to get lost in the mini-maze at Hudson Gardens in about two seconds flat.

This time, Tia’s in laws joined them at the session which was so nice. The girls got some great photos with their grandparents. It’s been a couple of years since we last met up so it was time to meet up and update the family photos. Kids grow so fast when they’re little that you really have to stay on top of the pictures or they’ll be all grown up before you know it. On the day we met it was supposed to storm later in the afternoon so we moved our session up a little bit to try and beat the weather. We did a good job with that and managed to squeeze in our session right before it got ugly outside. And Hudson Gardens down in Littleton was looking beautiful. The fall color was in full swing that day we met in the first week of October. I love the orange and green of the plants by the bridge and love the way that the tall grasses matched the girls’ furry little pink coats too. They did an incredible job of smiling for the camera and posing for pictures. Check out my favorites below!
