Jenn & Joe are really into the great outdoors.  They are the kind of people who’ll plan a honeymoon with a week in Mexico and then 2 weeks in Alaska.  So it really was quite fitting that their wedding was held at Piney River Ranch which is about a 40 min drive up a bumpy dirt road near Vail, CO.  I was expecting the site to be beautiful, but the view was much more of a take your breath away kind of beautiful than I was expecting.  We started off the day at the West 1 Salon in Vail where Linda and Kate did their magic on the hair and Jill B. did a great job with the make up.  Jenn & Joe opted for a mid-afternoon ceremony in front of the lake and soon after hair and make up was complete everyone headed out to Piney River Ranch.  It was a beautiful day with barely a cloud in the sky which really made the mountain backdrop behind the lake pop.  It’s hard to pick a favorite part of the day, but the first dance is high up on my list.  Jenn & Joe danced to U2’s “All I Want is You.”  Now I have to confess that I normally can’t stand U2.  But there is just something about this particular song of theirs that I just adore.  It might be because it’s the song that plays in the montage scene in Reality Bites when Winona Rider and Ethan Hawke  are really missing each other and end up making up and getting back together on her front lawn.  Watching Jenn & Joe dance with each other to this song made my stomach all fluttery with how romantic it was.    Here, you can listen to it while you look at the pictures for their sneak peek:)
