Hudson Gardens Engagement Photos

I have the cutest spring time Hudson Gardens engagement photos to share on the journal today. Dan has been friends with my husband, Geoff since they were in middle school. They were even in a band together! Today I get to share some photos of Dan with his lovely fiancée, Jen who also went to school with both of them in high school although I don’t believe the three of them knew each other well back then. But, that’s where facebook steps in. Dan and Jen reconnected with the social service (I have a soft spot for this sort of thing since Geoff and I met on Myspace!) and started talking to each other online first. Now they’re engaged to be married this June at Arrowhead Golf Club in Littleton. For their engagement pictures they decided to go for something a little different from the dramatic red rocks of Arrowhead and went for the pretty spring blossoms at Hudson Gardens.

The flower beds are still working their way through all of the spring snowstorms we’ve been getting so there wasn’t much there but the gardens were incredibly green and there were still some pretty flower blossoms on the trees and bushes that we took full advantage of! I also love their new-ish red barn that they built on the west side of the gardens. I have no idea if they plan to use it as a wedding venue there but for now it certainly makes for some pretty rustic backdrops. And although it wasn’t easy finding the perfect spot to get the mountain views we eventually found a place at the gardens where we were able to get that as well. It was pretty awesome getting to hang out with the two of them and see how comfortable they are in each other’s arms. I can’t wait to witness their vows to each other this summer.
